It’s not how much was bad so much as it is WHAT was bad, and how bad that part was.

It’s not deep, it’s not complicated, it’s rehashed greek drama where there’s no choice but to do as one is fated to do. It’s Aeschylus all over again. If you’d ever read a book in your life you’d understand that. Acting superior and insisting I revisit an ending I played through three times in an attempt to be fair to it just shows how poor your comprehension of literature really is.

There was a lot wrong with how ME3 ended, but you guys (and McCurley especially) called out a lot of the worst reasons why people disliked the ending. ME3 is a game that needs time for people to understand, especially those that so deeply held affection for the first two games. Revisit this in a little bit and you might be surprised at how much the things you thought were super important do not bother you as much, but the actual flaws will come to the fore much more than before.

Sounds like sour grapes.  I can’t play ME3, but if it were 98% good, hell even if it were 90% good, I’d be happy and I’d plan on pre ordering the next game that studio made.

I feel sorry for you guys, as in a few years you’ll not be buying anyone’s games as the endings in the majority of these guys suck, you’re usually lucky to have something mediocre..
